PRACTICE MATCH: Uganda Cranes, Tala’ea El-Gaish settle for a one-all draw

Uganda Cranes settled for a scoring draw with Egyptian topflight league side Tala’ea El Gaish in a practice match played in Egypt.

Vipers midfielder Moses Waiswa scored for the Cranes inside the first 15 minutes of the game.

Talla Ndiaye levelled the scores in the 79th minute.

Robert Odongkara started in goal for the rested Dennis Onyango before being replaced by El Hilal’s Jamal Salim Magoola in the second period.

Emmanuel Okwi wore the captain’s armband in the absence of Onyango.

The Uganda Cranes will fly to Tanzania on Friday 22nd March to face the Taifa Stars in the final AFCON qualifiers game on Sunday.

Uganda is among the already qualified nations after garnering 13 points from five Group L outings.
