Police ready to play party spoiler role. Abdallah Mubiru ahead of visit to URA

Police FC will face an uphill task of trying to beat URA FC at a ground where the hosts have won their 7 consecutive previous league matches.

URA missed a chance of creating a 4 point gap against their closest challengers Vipers SC and they know that further slip ups will cost them the table leadership.

However, Police FC head coach Abdallah Mubiru is adamant that his side are good enough to leave Ndejje with a positive result.

“We are ready to out compete them and looking forward to getting positive results. It is a very competitive game that we are facing the table leaders”

Mubiru said in a pre match press briefing as told to the club media.

” We have finalised the preparations for the game against URA tomorrow”

The head coach also confirmed that captain Tonny Mawejje will not travel with the after suffering a knock in the dull draw with KCCA on Sunday.

Youngster Frank Tumwesigye has also failed to recover in time after being stretchered off in the first half against KCCA FC.

Police FC have suffered two defeats and a draw in their last 3 league matches. Their away form is also not one to be proud of. They have lost 3 of their 4 previous games on the road.
