Police gets off the mark with 2-1 win over Ndejje University

Police FC earned their first points of the season from a 2-1 win over Ndejje University at the Arena of visions in Luwero.

Goals from Ronald Nyanzi and Juma Balinya ensured some lifeline for Abdullah Mubiru’s men who had lost all their previous 3 games.

Nyanzi scored in the 16th minute before Balinya doubled the lead a minute to the mandatory halftime break.

Dickens Kilama pulled one back for Raymond Komakech’s side with 3 minutes left on the clock.

Victory propels the Cops from the red zone to the 13th place, a spot below Ndejje University who have a better goal difference.

Ndejje University will seek redemption when they host Paidha Black Angels in their next game on Tuesday 30th October while Police will make a short trip to Wankulukuku to face Nyamityobora on the same day.
