The two Lugogo occupants have played to a very disappointing stalemate in a match that promised to yield goals.
Judging by the fact that they are among the top 3 of the highest scoring teams in the league with 91 goals between them ( Police 47, KCCA 44), very few could expect a barren stalemate.
This was in fact the first goalless draw in their last 6 meetings.
None of them appeared interested in finding a goal until the 35th minute when Sadat Anaku broke through only to be clipped down by Tom Ikarah in the penalty box but the centre referee opted to award a corner kick.

Gift Ali also headed over the bar, Herbat Achai’s sweet inviting cross with a minute left to the half time break.
Police had earlier on been forced into a substitution when Ruben Kimera failed to recover from a nasty collision with Andrew Kigozi .
Eric Senjobe replaced him after only 10 minutes.
Frank Tumwesigye also did not finish the first 45 minutes after complaining of pain in the foot. He was replaced by Muwadda Mawejje at 43 minutes.
In resumption to the second period, Brian Muluuli Mawanja was withdrawn for Johnson Odong but he also failed to improve on what his predecessor had offered for the law enforcers.
From then on, what promised to be a thriller, turned out be a dull friendly affair.
The point shared by either side keeps them in 4th and 5th points on 38 points with KCCA being infront courtesy of a better goal difference.
KCCA will host relegation embattled Kyetume in their next game on May 16th, whereas Police will visit URA FC at the Arena of Visions in Ndejje on the 15th of May.
