Police FC has played to a goalless draw against Mbarara City Fc as the Azam Uganda Premier league resumed today with the second round.
The game was played with very limited opportunities to both sides.There were literary few chances created on either side.
30 minutes into the game, Mbarara city forward Ibrahim Oriti collided with the cops’ goalkeeper Davis Mutebi who was later substituted for Douglas Kisembo.
By halftime, the game had not produced any clear cut opportunity.
Into the second period, things were not different either.
78 minutes into the game, Abudallah Mubiru in made changes which saw Ben Ochen coming on to replace Shakur Makeera before Mufti Luzinda came on to replace Albert Mugisa 10 minutes later.
Luzinda was playing his debut game of the league.
However , the best clear cut chance of the game fell to the visitors 10 minutes to full time when Okorie Elieza took a long range short past a visibly helpless Kisembo but hit the cross bar and back into play for the Police FC defenders to clear away.
The result sees Police mantain 5th on 26 points where as the earned point helps Mbarara City leapfrog Bright stars to 10th
