Pilsner injects 450 million to award Uganda Premier League’s best

Uganda Breweries has through it’s Pilsner Lager brand announced a partnership with the Uganda Premier League worthy 450 million for 3 years to award the competition’s best players and coaches.

The Partnership will see the Pilsner man of the match recognized and awarded after every league game as well as a Pilsner Player of the month and coach of the month awarded every month.

Each Pilsner man of the match will receive 100,000 ( one hundred thousand Shillings) while each Pilsner Player of the month and coach of the month will receive 1,000,000 ( One million).

Speaking at the launch of the partnership, Uganda Breweries Head of beer, Esther Muliro said the sponsorship is one of the ways that Pilsner Lager is engaging football fans with new exciting experience in line with it’s own revitalised look and feel.

“We are keen to support football and to engage football fans around the country. We did this at the start of the season through the Pilsner Super 8 and today, I am pleased to announce this partnership with the Uganda Premier League that will see Pilsner encourage excellence in the league by awarding the man of the match, player of the month and coach of the month.” Stated Mrs Muzito

Vipers SC head coach Javier Martinez Espinoza and Kirinya Jinja SS FC forward Joel Madondo have been named the Pilsner coach and Pilsner player of the month of October respectively.
