PEPSI UFL: MUBS coach Ayiekoh expects tough test against neighbours Kyambogo

Two time Pepsi University Football league champions will be traveling to their neighbors Kyambogo University for their Quarterfinal first leg game on Tuesday.

MUBS head coach Charles Ayiekoh expects a tough tie away to Kyambogo and has urged his charges to double their efforts

“Any game against Kyambogo is a big game, it is a derby and everyone is excited and looking forward to it. We are a bit of disadvantage since we have just come from exams and I know we shall need to double our efforts to win the game.” Said Ayiekoh

His counter part Lobo Christopher believes his charges will prevail over MUBS

“We are also very ready and very excited about the game. Everyone is in good spirits and we are looking forward to a good game. MUBS is a good team and has been beating us but this time we have prepared and we are confident we shall win.” Said Kyambogo’s Lobo

This will be the 8th meeting between the two sides, MUBS have managed 4 wins in the previous 7 games with the other 3 ending in stalemates.

During the group stage, Kyambogo won two games, drew once and lost once in Group C that had three teams Bishop Stuart and Kabale University.

MUBS on the other hand, won all their six Group B games against Nkumba, University of Kisubi and Muni University.
