New Mbarara City signing Paul Mucurezi has highlighted on the club’s expectations ahead of the new season.
The attacking midfielder joined the Mbarara outfit as a free agent from KCCA FC says unity from all those associated with the club will bring glorious moments.
“Mbarara City is a great club and I know that I have added some weight to the club. I promise the fans and well wishers that Mbarara City is going to be among the best clubs in the country this season.”
Our target is to fight and win the StarTimes title and perform well in the Uganda cup or at least reach the finals.”
On his personal targets, the former KCCA FC player asserts that he aims at keeping a slot on the national team and also help his teammates to be considered by Cranes head coach Sebastien Desabre for national duties.
“My target as a player is to keep my slot on the national team and also help my teammates get considered for Cranes duties.”
“I believe through teamwork we shall achieve this and at least have three players coming from Mbarara City on the national team.”
At KCCA FC, Mucurezi won two league titles and two Uganda Cup winners medals and maybe this is the reason he is optimistic about winning big with the Ankole Lions.
The 2018/19 StarTimes Uganda Premier league will kick off on 28th September 2018.
