Mukisa fired Alex Isabirye coached side into the lead in the 26th minute after a horrible clearance from Express defender Issa Lumu.

The first period didn’t not produce many scoring opportunities and Express FC’s best chance was from Muzamir Mutyaba whose effort from the free kick was well saved by BUL custodian Sanon Mulabi.

Second half substitute Charles Musiige came to close to restoring parity into the final minutes of the contest but his effort went inches wide.

BUL held on to set up a final meeting with 2016 Uganda Cup champions Vipers on Sunday.
