After the appointment of former Uganda cranes coach and tactician Milutin Micho Sredejovic as the head coach of South African bigwigs Orlando Pirates, reports came out linking Cranes defender Murushid Juuko to a move to the Buccaneers.

Micho had expressed interest in making the defender his first signing but reports we are receiving indicate that Simba SC of Tanzania have decided to hold onto to the player whose contract is still running up to December this year.

Juuko has previously played for Vipers SC, SC Victoria University and he currently plies his trade in the lucrative Tanzanian League for giants Simba SC. He is a major pillar in the defensive mechanism of the Ugandan national team “the Cranes”
