Uganda Cranes goalkeeper and captain Denis Masinde Onyango has been named in the Best XI of the CAF World Cup Qualifiers 2018 with just one game to play.
Onyango is also the reigning African player of the year based in Africa.
Uganda Cranes has conceded only one goal which came against Egypt in Alexandria courtesy of Liverpool star in Muhammad Salah in the 6th minute.
He kept 5 clean sheets in the rest of the games played which include against Ghana (both at Home and Away), Egypt at Namboole and two against Togo in the preminalry round both in Lome and Kampala.
He was named in the best XI of match day 3 and 4 of the group stage qualification and made a number of point blank saves in Alexandria to keep the scoreline 1-0 in favour of Egypt.
Early this year, Onyango was also named the goalkeeper of the CAF team of the year 2016.
