SC Villa and Onduparaka will meet in Arua for the second time this term after being pitted together in the Uganda cup round of 16.
The Jogoos emerged victors with Faizo Kazibwe’s late goal guiding them through to the quarter finals. Villa also beat Onduparaka when they visited in this season’s first round.
This match comes at a time when the two sides have gone over 5 league matches each without winning a single game. In fact, Onduparaka have lost all their previous 5 league matches.
Villa on the other hand have drawn 4 and lost 2 of their last 6 league matches, scoring only twice in all those matches. Their only win in the second round of the season came on April 1st against MYDA in Tororo. Since then, they haven’t tasted victory.

Pressure on the coaches
The grapevine has it that a section of fans have prepared placards in an attempt to express their dissatisfaction to the club management faulting them for their choice of Joseph Mutyaba as head coach.
Since his appointment, the former Masavu coach has only managed one league win, a 1-0 over Mbarara cityin Arua . His other win came in the Uganda cup against lowly Luwero United.
He has suffered 5 back to back defeats that have seen the team steer into a relegation dog fight. They are only 4 points above 14th placed Kyetume.
SC Villa’s Edwardo Kaziba may have won enough points early enough to make his bosses happy, but the fans aren’t .
During Villa’s 1-1 stalemate with BUL FC, they threw insults to him and his boys and urged them to win some games for the fans who throng long distances to watch the team play in Bombo .
Villa have only managed 2 goals in 6 games, their top scorer Nicholas Kabonge has only 5 goals.
