Onduparaka host Wasswa Bbosa’s Tooro United in the only UPL game on Wednesday at the Greenlight stadium in Arua.
Both teams come into the encounter on a three match winless streak.
Onduparaka, who will be playing their 100th league game since elevation in 2016, last won against Wakiso Giants (1-0) and have since lost to KCCA, URA and drew to Vipers.
Tooro United last won against KCCA (1-0) and have lost to Kyetume, BUL and drew with Bright Stars in the subsequent three games.
Both teams have managed to win two of the six times they have met in the league drawing the other two as well.
Last season, Tooro United registered a 1-0 win over Onduparaka in Arua thanks to Godfrey Lwesibawa’s lone goal.
It was the same Lwesibawa who, under the tutelage of Wasswa Bbosa at SC Villa, inflicted the first ever home defeat to Onduparaka in Arua two seasons ago.
Onduparaka will look up to Ceaser Okhuti, Gadaffi Wahab and in-form goalkeeper Yusuf Wasswa among others in search of a positive result.
Lwesibawa, Ibrahim Kayiwa, Yafesi Mubiru and others are expected to inspire Wasswa Bbosa’s coached side.
Victory will send Onduparaka back to the third place on 19 points while the same result can uplift Tooro United from their current 11th place on the log.
