Onduparaka sign Tabu and Dudu, name new captain

Onduparaka have completed the signing of midfielder AbdulMalik Vitalis Tabu and defender Dudu Ramadhan.

Tabu was officially unveiled on Saturday after putting pen to paper on a one year contract and returns to a side he played for four seasons ago.

Just like Tabu who left URA after his contract expired, Dudu was also a free agent after partying ways with FUFA Big League side Kitara FC.

The former SC Villa utility defender signed a two year contract and was awarded shirt number 5 on arrival.

Another new signing unveiled is Mansuru Angua Herbert who will don number 35 after penning a four year deal.

The Caterpillars have named long serving midfielder Gadaffi Wahab as their new captain ahead of the new season.

Gadaffi replaces Rashid Toha who left for Vipers SC on a three deal deal and will be deputize by Viane Sekajugo, the club confirmed.

Gibson Adinho, Andama Denis Koko and Ajobe Toto Mahdi officially returned to the club following the end of their loan stints at Doves All Stars.

In another development, youngsters Jimmy Piriyo, John Rogers Okumu, Anthony Kent and Uganda Cubs starlet Iddi AbdulWahid have all been promoted to the senior team from the junior side “Ondunyiri”.

Under the stewardship of Charles Livingstone Mbabazi, Onduparaka will open up their 2019-20 season campaign with a Pilsner Super 8 encounter against Tooro United on Sunday August 4th at the Greenlight stadium.
