Jasper Okello is a midfielder acquired from former Big League Saviors FC on a one year contract.

Pacy winger Nelson Opio has also joined the Caterpillars from Saviors FC on a three year contract.

Mercy Munduru, the club head of marketing and Public Relations, said they have deliberately opted for young players and believe with add a lot to the club,

” We have had players predominantly from the central region, West and from within WestNile yet there is a lot of hidden talent all over Uganda. This time, we deliberately chose to give a chance to young gifted players who have demonstrated excellence in the sport. Aside from the skills the players bring, we shall have the additional benefit of expanding our fan base to the regions the players hail from. Our regional scouts have done exceedingly well and identified the best players who we believe will add a lot to the team. Having watched some of them feature in the Drum Tournament, we are confident they will build our dream team alongside our current players.”

Akoch, Okello and Opio now join Boniface Musema, Jakisa Jerry and Kennedy Atibuni Kennedy as the new players at Onduparaka.

Onduparaka will be under the stewardship of Vialli Bainomugisha who will be deputized by Abu Mubarak Wamboya and goalkeeping coach Ibrahim Kongo.
