Onduparaka will be hoping to clinch their third back to back victory when they entertain Luzira prisons outfit Maroons FC at Greenlight Stadium in Arua.

The Caterpillars who are on the aftermath of two successive wins over Proline (1-0) and Masavu (3-0) will be aiming for a feat of 3 straight wins which they last achieved in October when they beat Police (1-0), Soana (2-0) and Express (2-1).

Maroons FC played to a barren draw against army side UPDF at Bombo Barracks Grounds in their most recent fixture and are currently laying 7th on the log with 31 points having managed 6 wins, 13 draws and 3 losses.

Ceaser Okhuti’s brace inspired Onduparaka FC to a 2-0 win over Maroons FC in the reverse fixture when the two sides met at Luzira early this season.

Viane Sekajugo will be the man to look up to for Onduparaka having managed to score 3 goals in their last 2 games.

The Caterpillars are to miss out the services of Simba Sabir who is bound to stay on the sidelines for a month after sustaining an injury in the last game. Rashid Toha and Ezra Bida are also doubtful for this tie.

Maroons FC have no injury concerns with all squad players available for selection. They will rely on the services of Ronald Orombi, Sydney Chika and high-flying right back Eddie Kapampa for a positive result from Arua.

Asaph Mwebaze the Maroons FC coach is adamant they can get a positive result despite it being a tricky fixture,

” Despite the fact that it’s going to be a hard game, we are here in Arua for nothing else expect a win. Good enough i have no injury concerns in my squad. We are here to fight hard for a positive result.”

A win can see Onduparaka FC leapfrog Kirinya Jinja SS in the fourth position at 39 points.

In case Maroons FC wins, they are to move from 7th to sixth position.
