Viane Sekajugo was on target once again for Onduparaka this time with the all important goal as the Arua outfit edged relegation candidates Proline FC 1-0 at Lugogo.

With 4 minutes to the half time break, Viane broke the deadlock for the visitors with a low shot finishing off an excellent Rajab Kakooza pass.

His 5th goal of the season made up for the one on one chance he had failed to convert earlier on in the 28th minute.

Proline rarely posed efforts of finding the leveller and their best chance fell to defender Savio Kabugo whose effort was bravely blocked by Simba Sabir in the 55th minute.

Sabir Simba subsequently got injured from the incident and was replaced by Muhamood Hassan.

Onduparaka could have killed off the game through midfielder Rajab Kakooza who was played in by Ceaser Okhuti but failed to find the right angle placing the ball out and wide. Kakooza was also denied by a steady Said Keni in the Proline goal in the 88th minute.

The slim victory takes Onduparaka to 36 points collected from 23 games and will take on 7th placed Maroons in their subsequent fixture on Monday 9th in Arua.

Proline have now gone 8 games without finding the back of the net and are winless in the last 9 league games. They remain 15th on the 16-team table with 19 points garnered from 22 matches played.

Proline will visit bottom placed Masavu FC at Bugonga fisheries training grounds on Wednesday in a relegation 6-pointer affair on Wednesday 11th April.
