Onduparaka aggravate Kitara woes

Onduparaka FC came from a goal down to beat Kitara FC 2-1 in the Uganda Premier League game played at Greenlight Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Mahdi Ajobe and Noel Nasasira secured victory for the Arua based side while Nathan Aloro netted Kitara’s only goal.

Aloro had fired the visitors into the lead on the 17th minute mark before Ajobe leveled matters for the home side five minutes later. The two sides went into the break level.

In the 63rd minute, Nasasira made it 2-1 for Onduparaka. His goal was also enough to seal a hard fought win for the Arua outfit.

Onduparaka are now 8th on the log with 24 points while Kitara FC are bottom with just five points.

The Caterpillars will next travel to Wakiso Giants in their next game while Kitara will welcome leaders Vipers on Friday.
