Jjuuko had been an unused substitute in Simba’s previous win 2-1 win over Africa Lyon on October 6th marking a return in the Msimbazi fold.

The intelligent Uganda Cranes defender partnered Ivorian Serge Pascal Wawa in the central defence and successfully kept a clean sheet on the evening.

Clatous Chama drew first blood for home side a minute off the half hour mark before Okwi made it 2-0 at the stoke of halftime.

This was Okwi’s fourth goal in his last four appearances for club and country. 2 in the league and 2 for the Cranes.

Erick Mlilo converted into his own net to make it 3-0 for the Tanzanian defending champions with a quarter an hour to normal time.
