Second half goals from Allan Okello ensured a win for the hosts at Lugogo against struggling UPDF FC.

KCCA FC had chances to kill off the game in the first half but goalkeeper Bashir Sekajja was great on the day between the sticks.

Following UPDF resilience, Mike Mutebi made an immediate substitution in which Paul Mucureezi replaced Jackson Nunda before KCCA FC was forced into another substitution when injured Muzamir Mutyaba was replaced by Solomon Okwalinga 7 minutes later.

Down to ten men, UPDF FC fell prey to KCCA’s attacks with Allan Okello, Julius Poloto and Patrick Kaddu making constant runs into the final 3rd with only a few minutes left.

The attacks finally paid off after 81 minutes of play when Allan Okello found the first goal of the game to put KCCA FC in the lead.

6 minutes later, Okello picked a rebound amidst UPDF defenders and punished them for the reluctance by doubling the lead for the hosts.

Poloto also had a good game for KCCA

In the 3 minutes of additional time, Okello had an opportunity to score a third goal to his name but was obstructed by his own Patrick Kaddu who later fired wide.
