Express FC have officially unveiled Uganda Hippos goalkeeper Otim Denis as their second official signing.
As earlier reported by this website, the 20-year old signed a four year contract with the Red Eagles.
“I have joined the Red Eagles because it’s a big club in the country and I expect to use it as a springboard to further my career”
Otim who has formerly been at Mbarara FC in the Western Regional League, told the Express FC website.
His unveiling comes two days after the club announced fellow goalkeeper Chrispus Kusiima on a two year contract from Tooro United.
Otim is not in the top-flight league having previously featured for Nyamityobora FC in the closing stages of the 2018-19 season.
The youthful custodian was in between the sticks as Uganda featured in the 2019 CECAFA U-20 tournament last September.
Otim and Kusiima are expected to provide competition to the club’s first choice goalkeeper Mathias Muwanga.
Express ended their 2019/20 campaign 10th on the UPL table with 31 points accumulated from 25 games played.
