The in-form Red Eagles will however have to cope up without their inspirational and mercurial striker Tony Odur who is suspended due to accumulated yellow cards.

Odur has been an integral figure in Express’ good start to the season contributing 6 of the club’s 11 goals scored so far. That is 3 goals scored and 3 assists.

Bright Stars who sit 3rd on the table are currently the highest scoring team in the league with 13 goals, 7 of which have come in the last two games.

Fred Kajoba’s men walked to a commanding 3-0 win over new league entrants Ndejje University away in Luwero in their most recent fixture.

Express agonizingly played to a 1-1 stalemate with Vipers at Wankulukuku in a match that was tied by a late Tito Okello controversial “offside goal”.

The home side will look up to their inspirational captain Nelson Senkatuka who has scored 5 goals so far together with roving left back Dan Birikwalira who scored one and assisted twice in the previous game.

Midfielder Juma Sebadduka will be facing his former paymasters following the end of his one and half year stint at Wankulukuku at the end of last season.

Ibrahim Kayiwa, Eric Kambale and Michael Birungi will be the key men for Kefa Kisala’s coached side if at all they stand a chance to register their fourth win of the season.

Budding midfielder Badiru Nsubuga who proved a good decision for Kisala to start him against Vipers is expected to command a starting slot in tomorrow’s fixture.

The 10 previous meetings between the two sides have witnessed 5 draws, 3 victories for Express and 2 for Bright Stars.

Kayiwa will be Express’  go-to man in Odur’s absence

Last season, Bright Stars edged the former league champions 2-1 at Mwererwe but played to a goalless draw at Wankulukuku.

A win for either side can propel them to the summit of the table. Express is 6th on the table with 12 points, that is 3 points less than the pacesetters KCCA and Vipers.
