Odur, Kayiwa, Muwanga among seven shown exit at Express

Express FC have officially parted with seven more players, a day after releasing captain Isaac Mutanga.

The seven include club’s top scorers of the previous campaign, Tony Odur and Ibrahim Kayiwa.

Goalkeeper Mathias Muwanga, Charles Mutima Musoke, Shafik Nana Kakeeto, Joel Male and hardtackling midfielder Pius Mbidde are other released players.

Prodigal son Odur joined the club from Vipers SC and was the club’s top scorer last season with 7 goals and one in the Stanbic Uganda cup. This was his fourth stint with the Wankulukuku outfit.

Custodian Mathias Muwanga a former URA FC player also joined Express FC at the start of last season and was instrumental in guiding the Uganda Cup quarterfinals.

Midfielder, Kayiwa joined from Vipers SC to serve his second stint at the 6 time league champions.

Kakeeto joined the club in 2017 from Nyamityobora and helped the club overcome relegation during the 2017/18 season.

The others are Joel Male who joined the club from Katwe United, Pius Mbidde a former Kitara FC midfielder and Charles Musoke who joined from Nyamityobora.
