Nyanzi resigns as Bugema head coach

Bugema University head coach Meddy Nyanzi has resigned from his role.

Nyanzi told Swift Sports Uganda that he has put down the tools due to poor working conditions

“I have decided to step down as Bugema University head due to the unfavourable working conditions.”

It was not an easy decision for me basing on the strong attachment with the University but I believe this was the right time.

I wish them all the best in this season’s University Football League.” He stated.

Nyanzi was appointed Bugema head coach in August, 2014. He was named Pepsi University Football League coach of the 2019 after guiding Bugema to the University to the third place finish last campaign.

Bugema are in group E of the 2020 Pepsi University Football League alongside Gulu University, Muni University and Nkumba University. They will play Muni University on Sunday 23rd, February, 2020 in their first game of the fresh campaign.
