Relegation threatened side Nyamityobora football club have appointed Juma Ssekiziyivu as caretaker coach just hours after Asaph Mwebaze’s resignation.
Mwebaze and his assistant Joseph Kiwanuka parted ways with the topflight side after suffering a 2-0 defeat to Express FC at Kakyeka Stadium on Wednesday.
Ssekiziyivu who has been working as academy coach at the club will be assisted by senior player Ibrahim Pengere and goalkeeping coach Hasshim Muhwezi. They will conduct their first training session tomorrow Friday 15th February.
The CAF C licensed coach has a task of helping the club overcome relegation. His first game in charge will be a trip to fellow relegation candidates Paidha Black Angels on Thursday 21st February at Greenlight Stadium, Arua.
Nyamityobora are currently second from the bottom on a log of 16 with 12 points accumulated in 19 games.
