Nyamityobora edge Luwero as Arua Hill squander lead to draw against Kataka

Nyamityobora Football Club edged Luweero United 2-1 to go top of Rwenzori group as Kataka Football Club and Arua Hill play to a stalemate

Clinton Kamugisha and Ivan Ahimbisibwe scored the two goals that saw Nyamityobora Football Club go on top of the group.

The sole goal for Luweero United was scored by Henry Musisi who converted from the spot.

Nyamityobora Football Club now top the group with 18 points two behind Tooro United.

A goal takes Kamugisha’s tally to seven same as Marvin Oshaba of Tooro United and they lead the scoring charts.

At Mbale Municipal Stadium, Kataka rallied from two goals down to play to a two all stalemate with Arua Hill SC.

Arua Hill scored through Alfred Leku who bagged a brace scoring in the 5th and 15th minutes.

Asharif Mulindi and Bashir Kyazze were on target for Kataka in the 25th and 70th minutes respectively.

Arua Hill SC remain unbeaten and on top of Elgon group with 17 points.

Kataka and Gadaffi are tied on 16 points and Gadaffi visit Maroons Football Club tomorrow at Luzira Prisons grounds.
