Ntambi replaces Iguma in Cranes squad

Kirizestom Ntambi has replaced Denis Iguma in Uganda Cranes provisional squad ahead of the final AFCON qualifiers game against Tanzania slated for 24th March.

Ntambi, a former graduate of the now defunct Jogoo Young, is plying trade in Ethiopia at Coffee FC where he is on cases fielded as a center back.

The former SC Villa and Express midfielder fills the void left by Iguma who got injured while playing for his club Kazma football club in Kuwait.

Ntambi’s inclusion was confirmed by the federation on the official social media platforms.

” FUFA confirms replacement made by @UgandaCranes coach @Seb_Desabre for injured Denis Iguma with Kirizestom Ntambi of Ethiopian side Coffee FC ahead of the camp due in Cairo 17th-22nd March. Uganda will play Tanzania on 24th March 2019 in the AFCON Qualifiers.”

The final squad of 24 players will fly out to Cairo for a residential camp between 18th to 22nd March before connecting to Tanzania.
