Nsubuga, Kiggundu released as massive exodus at Express continues


Express football club has officially released three more players in preparation for a new season.

These are defender Arthur Kiggundu and midfielders Mubarak Nsubuga and Badru Nsubuga.

” The three players and their representatives have failed to consent with the contract extension offers provided to them by the club. The club has decided to let them to ply their trade elsewhere.” Reads the club statement.

Mubarak Nsubuga was part of the team that fought relegation last year having joined the Wankulukuku club two seasons ago from Wembley FC.

Kiggundu and Badru Nsubuga had joined Express at the start of last season from SC Villa and Wembley FC respectively.

The three join eight other players who were officially released by the club last week.

Isaac Mutanga, Tony Odur, Ibrahim Kayiwa, Shafiq Nana Kakeeto, Charles Mutima Musoke, Mathias Muwanga, Pius Mbidde and Joel Male were all shown exit from Wankulukuku last week.

It is understood that Express are in preparations of acquiring new players ahead of the 2019-20 season.
