Newly appointed Kyetume FC head coach George Nsimbe has set tough targets for his team to be achieved this term in their maiden season in the top flight.
The experienced tactician believes that his team are good enough not to be in relegation dog fights.
On his unveiling, he assured the club hierarchy and fans that he is aware of the task at hand and ready for the fight.
“We are targeting a better finish ahead of our debut season. We all know things are not all that easy but at least we shall try and fight hard for a better finish and I believe the highest should be 10th.
“I have faith in the players we have and they also know what is expected of them”.
“Generally Ugandan players are the same but what I have observed we is that we are facing a problem of strikers and this can be witnessed in the goals scored a season.
” It is upon us coaches to help in building and solving this problem.” He added
The Slaughters open up their debut season in the league opener on Thursday 29th-August against SC Villa at Mandela National Stadium Namboole.
