KCCA later gained momentum in the game pressing harder and nearly found the opener through midfielder Muzamir Mutyaba who forced a glorious save from Kirinya’s custodian Emmanuel Rubankene.
Halftime ended in a barren stalemate.
In the resumption, the hosts made early changes introducing on Fred Amaku who was passed fit late for this encounter yesterday evening coming on for Mark Bamukyaye, moments later Joram Kirya also replaced Joel Madondo who had a quite game.
KCCA FC also brought on Filbert Obenchan for Solomon Okwalinga in the 55th minute. The changes from either side however didn’t bring an early impact and both sides looked settled for at least a point.
With the game heading towards a barren stalemate, Derrick Nsibambi won it late for the visitors as his 86th minute thumping header from a Filbert Obenchan quality cross broke Kirinya’s resilience
