KCCA 2-1 BUL FC
Derrick Nsibambi scored a late header to win all three for KCCA against BUL FC, a result that meant that the title fight will go on until the last day of the season.
Nsibambi had given Mike Mutebi’s men a deserved lead inside the first 20 minutes of the game finishing off a Sadam Juma assist.
He nearly doubled the lead few minutes into the second half but goalkeeper Hannington Sebwalunyo came to BUL FC’s rescue.
James Otim almost found a leveller for BUL FC with an thunderbolt shot that beat Charles Lukwago but was denied by the woodwork.
7 minutes to normal time, Jean Pierre Kambale levelled up the scoreline through an exquisite 30 yard strike that kissed the post on it way to the net.
With the game destined for a 1-1 draw, Nsibambi restored KCCA’s lead with a close range header off a Sadam Juma cross inside the stoppage time.
Nsibambi’s 9th goal of the season put a hold on the celebrations at the St. Mary’s Stadium that had surfaced on the aftermath of Vipers’ 5-0 drubbing of Express.
The 2017-18 title chase will be decided on the last day (25th May) as KCCA will be visiting Police at Namboole and Vipers will play hosts to UPDF
