No room for error as Proline, Tooro meet in bottom of table affair

Relegation threatened sides Proline and Tooro United lock horns in a bottom of table encounter at Lugogo.

With seven games to go, Proline are 16th with 18 points, four behind Tooro United who sit a place above them.

It’s one of those game either sides can’t afford to lose if at all they are to beat the drop as the league hits to the closing stage.

Proline come into the encounter on the back of a heartbreaking 1-0 defeat to Bright Stars at Kavumba.

Tooro United bounced back to the winning ways with a 2-0 victory over another struggling side Police at Fort Portal thanks to Charles Musiige and John “Toki” Byamukama.

Proline have won two of their previous five games losing the other three while Tooro’s last five games have seen them win twice, losing once and draw the other two.

Tooro United have a commanding head to head record over Proline having won four of the seven meetings between the two sides.

Proline have defeated Tooro on only two occasions while the other one game resulted into a one-all draw in the first round of this ongoing campaign.

Yafesi Mubiru has been the most outstanding player at Tooro United having scored six times this term and will be their key man against fellow strugglers.

Just like Mubiru, Proline’s Hamis Diego Kiiza has scored six goals and stands out as arguably the club’s source of inspiration heading into the relegation six-pointer.

A win for either sides will surely be welcomed with both hands as it will keep their slim survival hopes alive.
