No room for error as Maroons host Blacks Power in bid to save season

Gladys ZAWEDDE

Maroons will avoid relegation if they manage to avenge against Blacks Power at Luzira Prisons grounds as the Big League climaxes .

The visitors beat them 3-1 in the first round at Emokori Grounds in Bukedea.

Maroons who are fifth with 17 points from 13 games will need nothing but victory in order to survive relegation.

Blacks Power already booked a slot to play in the promotional play offs. They are third on Elgon group log with 21 points.

They can only miss play offs if Kataka wins against Mbale Heroes at Mbale Municipal Stadium with a margin of more than 5-0.

Mohammed Senfuma the man at the helms of Maroons believes he has fully given his players the tactics on how to handle their opponents,

“We are playing a side which is good at scoring whose power lies in the wings but my boys were fully equipped on how to handle them.”

The Prison Warders will only miss injured Patrick Bayiga. They will count on Solomon Walusimbi, Fred Amaku, Pius Obuya and David Ndibabwe to save them from relegation.

Ivan Okello, Micheal Siwu, Innocent Maduka and Simon Opio are expected to inspire the visitors to positive results.
