Uganda Women team Crested Cranes kick started preparations for the forthcoming CECAFA Women’s Championship with training at the StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo.

However, the Farida Bulega coached team will have to cope up without the inspirational trio of captain Hasifa Nassuna, goalkeeper Ruth Aturo and Yudaya Nakayenze who are destined for moves beyond Ugandan borders.

Training started on Saturday 7th July and among the 25 players summoned, 22 turned up with Spencer Nakachwa, Shadia Nankya and Annet Birabwa missing out.

” All Players are in good condition. The rest will join us but I know my players will deliver the best” said Head coach Bulega at the end of the first training session.
