SC Villa Interim committee chairman Eng.William Nkemba has emphasized togetherness and share of responsibilities at the club.
Nkemba confirmed that the board of directors at the club extended their (interim committee) stay in office until the end of the season as they prepare to organize new leadership at the record champions.
“The board of directors extended our stay in office as we look forward to those to take over leadership on a permanent basis. I believe a right time for change of club leadership will come but we have to work hand in hand to see that the club progresses.”
“I therefore call upon everyone associated with the club to perform his or her duties at club in a great way because in order to return to glory days, we have to share responsibilities.”
The former SC Villa player also stated that the club has long term projects that include Stadium construction.
“We have long term projects to work on like Stadium construction and I am confident that we shall be able to prevail. Our club is a family and we do everything as a family. I believe with the new and old players we shall have a fantastic second round of the season.”
The record champions are currently in the bottom half of the Uganda Premier league table with a paltry 14 points accumulated in 16 games. They will open their second round with a trip to URA FC on Saturday 2nd February at Mandela National Stadium.
