Uganda Premier League’s new entrants Gadaffi FC have agreed terms to sign utility player Jamaldin Buchochera from Mbale Heroes.

Swift Sports understands that Buchochera has joined Gadaffi on a two year contract to become the club’s first signing in the ongoing transfer window.

Buchochera has in the past two seasons been Mbale Heroes captain and guided the club to a Big League promotion play off final which they lost 1-0 to Kitara FC last year at Njeru.

The dreadlocked skipper was arguably the shinning light of the trouble Mbale Heroes side that was unfortunately relegated last season following a horrendous FUFA Big League campaign.

Buchochera can ably play in defense as well as in the midfield.

His versatility, leadership on the pitch, ability to initiate attacks going forward and a knack of scoring crucial goals are some of his main attributes.

He has previously played for Uganda Premier League side BUL FC as well as Lugazi Nabugabo United and Masaza Cup sides Busiro and Kyaggwe.

Gadaffi gained promotion to the topflight after beating Proline 2-0 in the promotion final played at Njeru about a week ago.
