New signing Kibirige officially unveiled by SC Villa

SC Villa have officially unveiled goalkeeper Meddie Kibirige as one their first signings in the ongoing transfer window

Kibirige joined Uganda Premier league record champions as a free agent having featured for the relegated Tooro United (Soana) for the last four seasons

” I am delighted to join the most successful club in the country. It was an easy decision for me to make since Villa is a great club and I hope to achieve more with this historic club.” Kibirige stated in a video on the club’s social media pages.

Kibirige was also heavily linked with a move to Wasswa Bbosa’s Express FC but fancied a move to the 16-time champions.

At Villa, he replaces Samson Kirya who has already agreed terms of a two year contract with Wakiso Giants.

Kibirige has previously featured for Vipers SC where he won the 2014/15 league title, Aurum Roses, Bazar Holdings and Mutundwe Lions.

SC Villa have also signed youngster Geoffrey Oyirwoth Goffin and defender Nasser Lukwago who are expected to be unveiled soon.
