New signing Kasirye promises big things at KCCA FC

On his arrival, the lanky hitman vowed to deliver the goods and surpass expectations.

Last week this website revealed that KCCA FC and forward Davis Kasirye had agreed terms for the towering striker to join ranks at Lugogo.

Indeed, this came to pass when the former Vipers player signed a one year renewable contract with the Morley Byekwaso coached side.

On his arrival, the lanky hitman vowed to deliver the goods and surpass expectations.

“I want to work hard and take the team back to greater heights. I know it has been two years since the club won a major trophy but as a forward i know I have to score goals to push the team to win silverware”.

Said the former Zesco United player as quoted by the club’s official website.

Kasirye has in the past featured for URA Football Club, SC Villa, DRC’s Motema Pembe, Zambia’s Zesco United and Rwanda’s Rayon Sports Football Club.

He joins KCCA ‘s rich forward line that has Sadat Anaku, Samuel Ssenyonjo, Brain Kayanja among others.

He also makes a reunion with former teammate at UPDF FC Brain Kayanja.

KCCA FC has not won a major trophy since winning the 2019 CECAFA Kagame Cup but a assembling a team to deliver the lost glory to the Kasasiro boys next season.

They have so far unveiled 11 players who include, Brain Kayanja, Brain Majwega, Geoffrey Wasswa, Alex Wasswa, Usama Arafat, Yasser Mugerwa, innocent Wafula, Mato Rodgers, Brain Majwega and goalkeepers Benjamin Ochan and Derrick Ochan.
