She Cranes resumed non residential training on Tuesday at MTN Arena in Lugogo. The team is preparing for the Netball World Cup slated for July this year in Liverpool, England.
Vice president administration in the Uganda Netball Federation William Bwambale highlighted on the team’s preparations
"The girls resumed with a non residential training on Tuesday and everything is going on smoothly. After the non residential training, 13 players will be named to begin residential training which is to start on 1st June.
We to have a formidable team of 15 players ready to compete this time not just participating and I strongly believe we shall have a great competition."
The 2019 World Cup will be the 15th staging of the premier competition in international Netball, contested every four years. The tournament will be held from 12th-21st at the M and S Bank Arena with sixteen teams to contest.
