Abraham Ndugwa’s 13th minute goal against’ Soana FC saw Masavu earn their first victory of the second round

The win comes at an opportune time when the battle for survival is rife, captain Ndugwa has attributed the victory to team work and called upon teammates to continue fighting until the last moment.

As a result of team work, we managed to achieve the desired result, the early goal gave us courage to defend it despite failing to kill the game off at half time. I am impressed we have come back to winning ways.”

” I am very happy that I have scored again making a total of six goals, it’s a big confidence booster and I hope to build on it as we reach the climax of the season “.

Ndugwa believes Vipers is a club they can challenge and get a good result,

“However much they need the points in the tittle chase we also badly need them for our survival it will not be an easy game but am very confident Vipers is a club we can get points off and this can be archived through hard.”

Abraham Ndugwa is currently Masavu FC’s top scorer with six goals

Masavu FC lies at the bottom of the log with 23 points collected in 25 games and will be playing Vipers SC in their next fixture on Tuesday 24th April 2018.
