Lawrence Ndugga scored his third goal of the season as Sharps Shooting Stars laboured to a 2-1 win over Black Forest FC in the Botswana Premier League.

The former BUL FC and Kira Young offensive midfielder converted from the spot to give Sharps Shooting Stars a 1-0 lead 3 minutes to the half time break.

10 minutes into the second period, Black Forest’s Donald Botshoma tied the scores at 1-1.

Kago Segokgo came off the bench in the 78th minute before firing Shooting Stars back into the lead seven minutes later.

Victory propelled Ndugga and his teammates to the 4th place having accumulated 17 points from 8 games.

Ivan Ntege’s Township Rollers started a new life without their Serbian coach with 1-1 draw against Mochudi Center Chiefs. Rollers maintained their spot on the top of the table with 20 points.
