Kayiwa netted his side’s winner with only 21 minutes played on the clock to take his scoring tally to five goals this season.

Ndejje University’s Raymond Komakech made a change four minutes later with Bernard Katetemera replacing Peter Ouma.

Komakech also brought on Baden Mujahid (on loan from Vipers) and Fredrick Male in the second half to surge for a possible equalizer.

Wasswa Bbosa then introduced youthful striker Baker Buyala for Steven Omvia ten minutes into the second period.

The end of proceedings at Buhinga saw Tooro United move to 17 points but remain 11th on the premier league table.

Ndejje’s Ronald Odokonyero and Robert Eseru together with Isa Lumu and Musa Mukasa from the home side were cautioned by referee Joseph Ochom.

The University side remain second from the bottom with only 8 points garnered after 14 games.

Tooro United will host Bright Stars in the round 15 while Ndejje University face another trip against Express on Thursday 10th January.
