Ndahiro completes URA switch

David GOMBE

Uganda Premier League side URA FC have completed the signing of left back Derrick Ndahiro from SC Villa.

Ndahiro joins the tax collectors on a three year employment contract.

The left back is to fill the void left by KCCA FC bound Brian Majwega who departed the club following expiration of his contract.

Ndahiro joined SC Villa at the start of the 2018/19 season and has probably been the club’s best player for the last three seasons. He is one of the most prized players at the 16 time Uganda Premier league champions.

During the previous three campaigns, Ndahiro has always been pinpointed as Villa’s poster boy because of his technical ability and footballing exploits.

The 2017 UMEA Cup winner with Kasawo SS can play as a left back, left winger and a centre back effectively despite his lean body.

The tax collectors have also completed deals for Simon Baligeya, James Alitho and Kabong Living.

URA FC finished second in the just concluded season and will represent Uganda at next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
