NBL: Ndejje takes on Warriors as KIU hosts UCU

The NBL resumes after sudden change in Wednesday games due to the unavailability of the YMCA court Yard. The ladies and men’s Division I , Division III and IV games respectively were changed to MUK main ground as NBL games were skipped.

At 6pm, YMCA, Ndejje University Angels will host 2nd placed Pemba Warriors.
Ndejje come into this game having lost to City Oilers 50-92 in their last fixture. On the other hand, Warriors too lost their last fixture in September to KIU Titans in a 69-80 result.

Ndejje University Angels dropped from 5th to 6th leaving Oilers to go a place a head of them having lost to them. Warriors are still 2nd and will be looking for a double on Ndejje University Angels in the regular season having defeated them with a 19 point gap, scoring 72-53 in a game that unleashed the beast in Micheal Buzangu scoring 22 points, 9 rebounds and 1assist. Joshua Etalu scored 10 points while Innocent Ochera yscored 13 for Ndejje University Angels as we as Patrick Katumba scoring 11.

Later on at 8pm, 3rd placed UCU Canons will take on 4th place KIU Titans.
Titans come into the game in high spirits having won their last game defeating Sharing, 86-30.  UCU Canons come into the game in desire to get back to their winning ways having lost their last game 68-75 to Falcons.

KIU Titans will be looking to command supremacy in this fixture having edged UCU Canons in first round 55-43. Chris Basheke scored 17 points for KIU while Micheal Bwanga scored 13 on the day. On the other hand, UCU Canons’ Jonathan Egau and Chuma Fadhili scored 9 and 7 points.
