Asaph Mwebaze who joined Nyamityobora two months ago on a three year deal has reportedly resigned after the team’s 2-0 loss to Express FC in their own backyard Kakyeka Stadium.

Mwebaze has managed 11 games with the relegation strugglers winning only two games against Ndejje University followed by the famous 4-1 victory over Police FC. Under Mwebaze, Nyamityobora drew twice and lost 7 times.

He replaced James Odoch who resigned on 25th November 2018 after a 6-1 defeat to KCCA FC at StarTimes Stadium Lugogo.

This season alone, the tactician has already coached two teams, including Onduparaka FC where he served for only 4 months before terminating his contract.

It’s reportedly that he is leaving with his two assistants Joseph Kiwanuka and Juma Sekiziyivu.

Nyamityobora FC are currently second last on the log of 16 with 12 points from 19 games.
