Mutombora returns as Vipers seek to recover from Express defeat

Vipers SC will be looking to return to winning ways when they visit MYDA FC on Wednesday at King George IV Memorial Stadium in Tororo.

The reigning champions come into this contest after suffering their first home defeat of the campaign to Express FC last week.

MYDA on the other hand were shred 6-1 by Police FC at the MTN Omondi Stadium in their previous game.

During the first round meeting, the Venoms showered MYDA 7-0 at the St.Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.

MYDA has only managed two wins, 3 draws and lost 15 games in the 20 league games they has played.

Vipers come into this fixture four points adrift of current log leaders URA FC

The hosts will be without Norman Ojik due to injury while Paul Musamali is serving a red card suspension. Ahmed Saleh will also miss the game due to personal reasons.

Ibrahim Nsiimbe with 7 league goals, Moses Batali and Eric Mutebi are expected to lift up the home side to a miraculous victory.

Fred Kajoba’s side will be boosted by the return of custodian Fabien Mutombora who completed his three match suspension. Captain Halid Lwaliwa is also fit for this game
