Mutebi optimistic KCCA will earn their first ever victory in Arua tomorrow

DAVID GOMBE

KCCA FC head coach Mike Mutebi believes his side will be facing a tricky Onduparaka side when the two the two lock horns on Friday 19th October.

KCCA FC has not beaten the caterpillars at Greenlight Stadium ever since Onduparaka joined the topflight division, lost once and drawn once in the previous two league meetings.

Mutebi believes his side can turn their fortunes at Greenlight Stadium in case his players put up a great display. The tactician however believes Onduparaka is capable of a serious challenge.

We can get a positive result if the players perfect the things they are supposed to do then we stand a chance.”

“Onduparaka is a great side and we have never won them at their venue since they were promoted to the topflight. We have prepared well this time and I expect my players to perform.”

Onduparaka is more ambitious this time than in the past season according to their coach and so I expect a great performance from both teams.”

On the injuries and the players who were part of the national team for the Lesotho double header.

“Gift Ali and Bernard Muwanga are both out for three months and Julius Poloto will be back against Bright Stars. Nicholas Kasozi “Uganda’s Andres Iniesta” is back and will automatically start.”

Only Patrick Kaddu was involved during Cranes game against Lesotho, the other players were not part and I believe they are fresh for the game against Onduparaka so no need for alarm that we had players on the national team.”

The Asaph Mwebaze coached side has won both of their opening two games and yet to concede while KCCA FC has one win and drawn the other.
