Despite being held to a goalless draw that seems to have dented their title defense hopes, KCCA FC coach Mike Mutebi insists that his team will not be forced to change their footballing philosophy at the expense of results.

Speaking to the press, Mike Mutebi emphasised that KCCA will continue playing their way and results will come along.

” Maroons is a very organized team so it’s a good result away from home. My players must be effective enough to score the chances they create. I am happy with the way we play and we are not desperate to win so we are not going to sacrifice our identity”.

“The way we play has taken us to where we are, why should we divorce from it ? No, The players must take responsibility”.

It’s noteworthy that, none of the 3 title contenders has managed to get 3 points off Maroons.

KCCA FC remains 2nd on the log of 16 teams with 44 points while Maroons remain 6th with 33 points.

The next fixture will see KCCA FC visit Onduparaka FC at the GreenLight Stadium in Arua on Tuesday, 17th, April, 2018 while Maroons will visit URA FC Namboole on Friday, 20th, April, 2018.
