Ndejje University 1-1 SC Villa

Ndejje University held SC Villa to a one all draw at the Arena of Visions in Luwero on Tuesday evening.

The league debutants went up front when captain Ronald Odokonyero led by example with a header from an Emmanuel Wasswa free kick in the 15th minute.

The reviving record champions rallied through Bashir Mutanda whose powerful strike beat Eric Kibowa in the Ndejje University goal at the hour mark.

Mutanda’s goal took his season tally to 7 and joint top on the scorers’ chat alongside Kirinya JSS’ Joel Madondo.

Impressively, the former Vipers and Kirinya JSS marksman has now scored in each of SC Villa’s last 6 goals.

Ndejje University’s Wasswa Emmanuel was sent off but from the bench after insulting fans of the opposite side in the 74th minute.
