Mbarara City captain Hilary Mukundane has officially left the club after five years of service.
Mukundane is set to join Vipers SC on a three year contract, Swift Sports has learnt.
He played his final game for the Ankole Lions as they beat Six O’clock FC 2-1 in the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 64 encounter on Sunday 23rd.
We confirm that 𝑀𝑢𝑘𝑢𝑛𝑑𝑎𝑛𝑒 𝐻𝑖𝑙𝑎𝑟𝑦 has left the club after 5 years.

The lanky defender has been part of Mbarara City since 2016 when he joined the club from Ntoda FC.
He played an integral part as Mbarara City earned promotion to the Uganda Premier League from the FUFA Big League during the 2016/17 season.

Mbarara City have already signed defender Najib Tusaba Gwaidho on a short term contract as his replacement. They have also rewarded a short term contract to Ronald Otti Otire.
The club also signed former URA FC and BUL FC winger.
Mukundane leaves Mbarara City in the 12th place with 15 points from 15 games.
